This policy applies to direct website fixed-scope services.
This draft is a practical starting point and is not legal advice.
Revision Definition
A revision is an adjustment within the agreed scope.
Examples:
- Correcting a layout issue in the agreed page.
- Updating a provided label or field.
- Adjusting a checklist/report item for clarity.
- Fixing a setup issue caused by the implementation.
Change Request Definition
A change request is new or changed work outside the agreed scope.
Examples:
- Adding extra pages, workflows, products, lessons, quizzes, or integrations.
- Changing the platform or tool stack.
- Rewriting copy that was supposed to be provided.
- Adding new design directions after approval.
- Repairing unrelated account issues discovered during delivery.
- Making payment, access, migration, or destructive changes not included in the original scope.
Default Revision Rules
Unless a service page says otherwise:
- Audit, roadmap, QA, and report services include one clarification round, not implementation.
- Small setup/upload services include one revision within original scope.
- Larger setup/build services include one or two revisions within original scope, as stated on the service page.
- Migration, payment, and access services are audit-first unless implementation is separately quoted.
Extra Work
Extra work is quoted before it starts. Arif will not treat scope expansion as a free revision.
